Service Description
SOLO’s Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course is the recognized industry standard for those who work as backcountry trip leaders, camp counselors, mountain guides, river guides, and ski patrollers. The WFR is the perfect course for anyone working in a position of leadership in an outdoor setting or for individuals who want a high level of wilderness medical training for extended personal backcountry trips or expeditions. This training culminates in earning a nationally recognized 3 year certification through SOLO and also includes Basic Life Support CPR certification. You will receive an email about 14 days prior to the course with the address of our training center and other important course details. Please note this course is taught over 4 consecutive weekends

Cancellation Policy
Payment is due at the time of registration. If you must cancel, please allow 14-day notice. Course fees will be refunded minus 10% admin fee. There are no refunds issued if you cancel less than 14-days prior to the course start date. Please note that we have a minimum number required to host our courses. If that number is not met the course may be postponed until a later date. In the event this occurs, a full refund will be issued or you can transfer your registration to another course.
