WILDERNESS FIRST AID
This 2-day course is intensive and covers principles of preventing and treating wilderness injuries; ideal for those that spend time recreating, working, or living in remote settings. This course culminates in a 2-year certification from SOLO Schools.
WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER RECERTIFICATION
The WFR re-cert course is a 2-day course for current WFR’s from accredited organizations (SOLO, WMI, WMA, etc., contact us for a full list of accepted WFR certs). Successful completion of WFR re-cert course material culminates in a 3-year SOLO WFR Certification.
ADVANCED WILDERNESS FIRST AID
A more intense, fast paced training than the WFA, the AWFA is taught over 4 days and includes a more in depth look at specific traumatic injuries and medical illnesses that could be confronted in the wilderness setting. This course culminates in a 2-year certification from SOLO Schools.
WILDERNESS FIRST AID AFLOAT
This 2-day program is USGC accredited and is SOLO’s WFA specifically geared for those that work in the marine setting. Completely tailored for dealing with water emergencies, dive related illnesses, plus the regular WFA course topics built in. This course culminates in a 2-year certification from SOLO Schools.
WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER
This is an intensive 72-80 hour certification course nationally certified through SOLO which focuses on evaluation, treatment and rescue for backcountry medical situations. This is a 3-year certification from SOLO Schools.
WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER BRIDGE
This accelerated 5-day course is geared towards medical professionals who want to utilize their medical background to provide emergency care in the remote setting, or in a disaster response environment. This course culminates in a 3-year WFR certification from SOLO Schools.
WILDERNESS EMT BRIDGE
The WEMT Module is a 5-day program that upgrades current EMTs to the Wilderness EMT level. It focuses on emergency care when separated from definitive care by distance, time, or circumstance. This is a 2-year SOLO certification.
WILDERNESS EMT (WEMT)
This 180 hour course meets the requirements to sit for the National Registry EMT exam, State EMT-B exam, and Wilderness EMT exam.
